It was on Thursday evening at the 30th edition of the Festivent in the city of Levis that we really got to witness some magic. Outdoor festivals are always some kind of toss in the air, all factors weighing in. When it called for rainstorms, very appropriate for Hedley’s last album, all we got was very, very hot sunshine all day long. Amazing weather means a very happy crowd and with an upcoming line-up like Tailor Made Fable and Hedley, I guess you can say the acts brought the storm to Levis, in a good way.
After the hot-air balloon lift-offs it is the band from la Beauce, Tailor Made Fable, who took to the stage. I couldn’t help but smile the whole way through their set. I was blown away. It was my first time seeing them live and I can honestly say they amazed every single person in the crowd with their talent and the ease they seemed to carry on stage. It looked like they had been doing this for years and years. With songs like “Monday Morning”, they got the crowd clapping even before they even signaled to do so. I noticed something I never got to see before when lead singer Rémi hid backstage while his guitarists took control and sung something of their own. It is rare to see something like that happen and I was pleasantly surprised. They even did a few covers like “Black or White” from the legendary Michael Jackson and “Whole Lotta Love” from Led Zeppelin. But it is really their cover of Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” that was the highlight for me. It was perfect. Needless to say, these guys really know what they are doing and in my opinion should`ve had their own headlining night. Tailor Made Fable is more than an opening act, trust me.
Tailor Made Fable requested by the Kings !
The Quebec POP ROCKERS to perform at the STAPLES Center next December 1st!

The lads will be performing Next Dec 1st at the personal invitation of Luc Robitaille, former star winger, hockey hall of famer, and now President of Business Operations for the Los Angeles Kings hockey franchise.
« The boys of Tailor Made Fable are extremely talented and serious about their music , they’ve got a good team built around them and its a pleasure for me to give them a helping hand in their efforts to pierce the L.A music scene » said Luc Robitaille.
The group’s manager Dany H. Poulin adds: « The chance meeting with Luc occurred during TMF’s U.S Summer Tour. We all became fast friends and then built on that friendship during our participation in the Quebec in Hollywood event that took place last September. TMF will open the series of concerts at the STAPLES Center with two fifteen minute sets at the City View Terrace in the STAPLES Center which overhangs the Plaza of the NOKIA Theatre, between periods, the crowd at the center will also be able to see and hear TMF as well on the videoboard!
And as a bonus, Rémi Chassé, accompanied by two other band members, will sing the pre-game National Anthem in front of the 18,000 fans that will be in attendance. It’s an incredible window of visibility for TMF and a chance to show the West Coast Scene what we’ve got and in a big way. We are really grateful for the opportunity that Luc and the Kings organization have offered us. »

Tailor Made Fable’s American dream continues!
The Fab Five get their first US contract with a big league booking agency.
(Nashville, April 20th 2010) – Since their successful participation at the Canadian Music Week in Toronto and the subsequent RedGorilla Music Fest in Austin held last March during the South By South West, Tailor Made Fable has been hanging out in Nashville looking for American partners interested in further developing their career and this strategy is paying off.
In fact, right after their highly remarked performances at these two events as well as their Next Big Nashville triumph last October, the group caught the eye and imagination of a number of important players in the U.S including BLA (Buddy Lee Attractions) one of the biggest and most important show promoters in the States.
After fruitful negotiations with U.S. partner Brian Waymire, the band’s manager and producer Dany H. Poulin negotiated an exclusive booking contract with BLA for the promotion and sale of Tailor Made Fable’s show in the U.S. for 2010-2011. Established in 1964, BLA represents or has represented a myriad of renowned artists including but not limited to: Garth Brooks, The Dixie Chicks, Jason Aldean, Edgar Winter, Ringo Starr’s All Stars Band to name just a few.
The first windfall as a result of this new partnership is that TMF will be performing in Nashville for a roomful of music execs and industry stars at the renowned 12th and Porter next April 30th following which the next day they’ll head out to New York for a performance on May 4th opening for the American group SleeperStar at the prestigious Canal Room situated on Broadway. Amongst the guests, a number of reps from the biggest American labels will be invited: Hollywood Records, Fueled by Ramen, Colombia Records, Atlantic Records, Epic Records as well as other major players.
The future is looking bright for Quebec’s TMF who will be back on the 8th of May to begin the first leg of their summer tour of Quebec in June and to begin writing new songs for their second album. Last but not least , don’t miss their performance on Canal Vox from the 15th to the 22nd of April showing their live performance taped at Le Cercle in Quebec City as part of the l’Émission LéZarts Studio.

With a meat and potatoes text mining the drudgery of routine, black humor and a partying spirit,
«You never wanna wake up on Monday morning
You never wanna skip any holiday
You never wanna end up driving down the same old road…»
Completely addicting with its killer guitar riff intro, the tune « Monday Morning » is a bona fide new blue collar pop rock anthem inciting us to squeeze every last drop of party out of the weekend while waking the eternal adolescent slumbering in all of us faster than you can click play-repeat on your iPod!

The First time ever for a Quebec Group
Tailor Made Fable at the Legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool!
(Montreal, July 17th 2008) It will be with a mix of awe and excitement that the four lads comprising Tailor Made Fable will board their flight next August 23rd to begin a weeklong
visit to Jolly old England culminating in a dream gig which has been the dream of many generations of musicians; that is, to walk onto the mythic Cavern Club stage, that very same location from which John, Paul, Georges and Ringo began their onslaught and conquest of the world music scene.
Comprised of Rémi Chassé (vocals, guitar, and piano), Mike Normand (guitar and vocals), Matt Boulanger (bass and vocals) and PE Beaudoin (drums and vocal), Tailor Made Fable are known for their hard driving rock, contagious melodies, and the uncommon originality of their lyrics.
<< Tailor Made Fable shines in the glow of their originality! >> Kathleen Lavoie, Le Soleil
After having won the first prize at the Festival Envol et Macadam which was held in Quebec in September 2007, Tailor Made Fable was invited by the Liverpool City Council to perform on stage as part of the Mathew Street Festival of Liverpool next August 25th.
According to the BBC, this festival is the largest annual event held in Europe presenting free outdoor shows. Their stages are renowned for hosting, year after year, as many young and upcoming groups from Liverpool and elsewhere alongside the world best established artists and acts.
Later in autumn 2007, the group signed a contract with Groupe UniSpec Group & Disques VivaMusik Records, founded by Dany H. Poulin, to further develop their recording and performing careers, both locally and internationally. Everything was picture perfect for the foursome (all native Beaucerons) based in Quebec, but they had no idea that the Liverpool festival still had another big surprise in store for them!
It is due to the work and collaboration between Simon Gaudry from the Festival Envol et Macadam and their manager and producer Dany H. Poulin that Tailor Made Fable will find themselves on the stage of the Cavern Club the evening of next august 25th as part of the International Beatles Week which runs from the 20 th until the 26 th of August 2008, in the very year Liverpool is named the European Capital of Culture.
Until then, Tailor Made Fable is working on the final touches of their first album which will be released in Canada next fall on the VivaMusik label. Their first highly anticipated radio single will be released in Quebec within a few weeks.
With the arrival this weekend of Paul McCartney in Quebec, what could be more extraordinary for the four members of Tailor Made Fable then a dream meeting with Sir Paul himself, making this whole adventure a truly ‘Tailor Made Fable’’ for the lads.
To be continued…..
